Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team, primarily focused on surgical care. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

This position is available in a predominantly surgical unit, specializing in:

• Orthopedic Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• General Surgery
• Urology

This is a night shift position, requiring three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30).

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct nursing care to assigned patients in adherence to established protocols and standards.
• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educating patients and their families regarding health conditions and post-operative care.
• Documenting patient assessments, care provided, and patient responses in the medical record.
• Participating in unit activities and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications include:

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice.
• Experience in a medical-surgical or surgical nursing unit preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
