People Analytics Lead

We are partnering with a leading global firm to hire a People Analytics Lead, based in New York. A genuine blank-slate opportunity to build and own the people analytics function from the ground up, infrastructure, governance, and analytics products included. You'll manage a small team and act as the primary analytics partner to senior leadership and HR. This is a highly technical role at the intersection of people strategy and data engineering, requiring someone equally comfortable in a database and an executive boardroom. Key Responsibilities: Architect a single source of truth for people data, replacing fragmented spreadsheets with structured, auditable infrastructure. Build predictive models across headcount growth, attrition, time-to-fill, and other core workforce metrics. Design and maintain automated dashboards serving self-service needs across People Ops and the wider business. Partner with engineering to integrate people data with financial and operational datasets. Set and manage the analytics roadmap, establishing governance policies, data standards, and privacy compliance. Translate complex findings into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders. Manage, mentor, and develop the People Analytics team. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in people analytics, 5+ years leading a team, and 5+ years embedded within or alongside HR. Advanced SQL, strong Python, and deep Workday expertise are essential, alongside a solid statistical modelling background.
