New York City | Hybrid Debt Finance Associate Attorney AmLaw 50 Opportunity Compensation $225,000 – $260,000 A premier global law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate Attorney to join its New York office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions in sophisticated leveraged finance and secured lending transactions. Ideal Background 1–3 years of debt finance, leveraged finance, banking & finance, or corporate finance experience gained at a large law firm Experience representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, direct lenders, banks, and financial institutions Experience handling secured lending, acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancing transactions, and other commercial finance matters Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment letters, security agreements, collateral documents, guaranties, and related financing documents Experience managing financings from due diligence through closing, including preparing closing checklists, issues lists, and transaction documents Working knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Experience with debt securities offerings, high-yield debt, convertible notes, and general corporate law is a plus Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple transactions while maintaining significant client interaction Excellent academic credentials J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted Why This Opportunity Premier Debt Finance practice Sophisticated leveraged finance and secured lending transactions Significant client interaction and early responsibility Opportunity to represent leading private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers Strong mentorship and professional development Collaborative AmLaw 50 environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Aligned Talent Acquisition
