Join our dynamic team in the heart of New York City, where creativity meets innovation in the world of luxury eyewear. We are seeking an experienced designer to lead the development of cutting-edge eyewear collections in collaboration with our international teams and licensors. This is your chance to influence trends and shape the future of luxury accessories.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with licensors to understand brand identity and target customers.
- Create and manage sketches for new eyewear collections.
- Collaborate with product development teams in North America and Italy.
- Generate detailed technical drawings for prototyping.
- Interpret fashion trends and provide direction on product concepts.
- Analyze market trends to maintain brand identity and strategy.
- Lead the development of innovative materials and techniques.
- Participate in industry conferences and trade shows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of design experience in a specialty retail or distribution environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D Modeling (Rhinoceros or similar), and 3D rendering (Keyshot).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project management expertise.
Preferences
- Experience with luxury accessories, particularly eyewear.
- Past or current experience in a sales distribution business.
- Exposure to Italian culture and language proficiency.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
