On-call requirements include 1-2 weekday call shifts per week from end of shift until 7:00 AM, one weekend call rotation per 6 weeks (24 hours Saturday and 24 hours Sunday), and one working shift on Saturday or Sunday per 6 weeks. May be included in holiday call rotation as needed. Highlights: Scrub for open heart and vascular procedures, including advanced wired vascular cases 18-month permanent CVOR experience required; minimum 2 years recent experience preferred Day shift schedule with structured on-call rotation Comprehensive orientation with required competency assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety Extension opportunities available for up to 18 months Pre-start modules required; initial 4 hours are compensated Requirements: Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission Current AHA BLS certification required Minimum 18 months combined permanent CVOR experience in specialty One managerial reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) from within the past 12 months required COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only) Successful completion of background check with no open cases; no license infractions Completion of BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing Negative drug screen within 12 months of start date Why It's a Great Opportunity: This cardiovascular operating room position offers the chance to work with complex cardiac and vascular cases in a specialized surgical environment.
