The Opportunity
Join a team of scientists and engineers working on challenging problems in quantum information science. This role offers the opportunity to conduct impactful research, develop new computational and theoretical approaches, and contribute to the advancement of quantum technologies.
What You'll Do
- Conduct original research in quantum information science and related fields.
- Develop models, simulations, algorithms, and software tools.
- Collaborate across physics, mathematics, computer science, and engineering.
- Communicate technical results through reports, presentations, and publications.
What You'll Bring
-Required
- PhD or equivalent experience in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong research track record.
- Strong programming and scientific computing skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
-Preferred
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: quantum information science, computational physics, scientific computing, machine learning, optimization, or applied mathematics.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary research environments.
- Experience working with trapped-ion quantum computing platforms or related atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) physics systems.
