Senior Accountant (Payroll GL & Fixed Assets)

Salary & Bonus Annual Base Salary $120-$145k + 12% bonus, depending on experience. Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans. Company Bay Area based biotech research firm with a philanthropic arm. Corporate accounting team of 15+ focusing on month‑end close. Role Overview Senior Accountant responsible for the GL side of payroll for multiple entities, fixed assets, and the review of other close areas. Must come from a multi‑entity and complex accounting environment. Onsite 3 days per week, potential for growth, and good work‑life balance. Requirements 5+ years of corporate accounting experience focusing on GL and month‑end close. Experience working in a multi‑entity accounting environment. Prior payroll accounting/payroll journal entry experience in a complex environment. CPA certification or working toward it is highly desired. Strong curiosity to learn and enjoy variety. Strong experience with using systems to automate and create customized reports. BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related field of study. Advanced Excel skills required (Pivot Tables, V–X‑Lookups, Sum Ifs, etc.). Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. #J-18808-Ljbffr Addison Group
