Description:
Work hours: Flexible start time; anytime between 6am and 8:30am
Remote at least to begin with. The hope is that we will eventually be in the office 2-3 days a week (including this temp position). Must be local and able to return onsite a few days a week at any time.
3 Must haves on the resume:
- Paralegal or contract administrator experience
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word (redlining, document compare, etc.)
- Experience using one or more of the following: Adobe Acrobat, Apttus Contract Lifecycle Management system, SAP, Salesforce
- Review Customer Redlines and Customer Contract Forms
- Perform initial reviews of i) customer redlines made to BD Bioscience’s standard terms and conditions and ii) customer contract forms
- Complete and return reviews of simpler customer redlines
- Support work to revamp and maintain standard contract templates
- Participate in discussions on desired end state and process changes needed to implement
- Assist in preparing initial drafts of revised templates
- Assist in migrating existing BD Bioscience’s sales contracts to CLM
- Populate and maintain clause library in Contract Lifecycle Management system (CLM)
- Assist in completing BD Bioscience’s commercial bids
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required
The desired candidate would need the following primary experience and skills:
- Paralegal or comparable experience
- College degree
- Aptitude in understanding legal concepts
- Strong writing skills; ability to write clearly and concisely
- Aptitude and interest in working with and drafting contract language
- Interest in deepening knowledge of contract issues
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
