Process Engineer

Zatkoff Seals & Packings seeks a Process Engineer to improve manufacturing and sealing processes supporting OEM and MRO customers. You will analyze production data, optimize workflows, and drive quality, reliability, and cost reductions in a hands‑on environment. Partnering with engineering, distribution, and sales, you’ll translate customer requirements into robust processes, support new equipment and materials, lead root‑cause analysis, and champion continuous improvement. Design, optimize, and standardize manufacturing and sealing processes for OEM and MRO customers. Analyze production data to improve efficiency, reduce defects, and ensure consistent product quality. Collaborate with sales, distribution, and operations teams to translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions. Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Support implementation of new equipment, materials, and automation to enhance throughput and reliability. Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for process issues and customer complaints. Provide hands‑on technical support on the shop floor, training operators on best practices. Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives across manufacturing and distribution operations. Process engineering Statistical process control (SPC) Lean manufacturing Six Sigma or continuous improvement methods CAD or technical drawing interpretation Root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone, etc.) Manufacturing documentation and SOPs Data analysis and reporting (Excel or similar) Mechanical/industrial engineering principles Quality systems and ISO standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar continuous improvement certification (preferred) Experience with SPC tools and quality systems (e.g., ISO) Familiarity with sealing, gasket, or components manufacturing (preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr Reporter Newspapers
