Seasonal Forklift Driver Positions

Partners Personnel is seeking to fill Seasonal Forklift Driver positions with qualified, capable individuals. These positions are based in a fast-pace, high volume production facility in Woodland, CA. Our state-of-the-art Woodland facility uses advanced technology to process whole tomatoes into various products such as diced, crushed, stewed, sauces, and paste.

This is a seasonal, on-site role that may require weekend work and occasional overtime. The position is part of a seniority-based union (Collective Bargaining Agreement) and typically involves working various shifts, 6 to 7 days a week during the peak season. Available to work during the months of July through October.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• May also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
• Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Certified to operate a forklift.
• Must be able to work any of the three shifts, overtime and weekends as needed.
• Available to work during the months of July through October
• Reliable and able to maintain excellent attendance.
