The role will be responsible for driving program planning, governance, execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives.The ideal candidate will have strong program management expertise, experience working in regulated life sciences environments, and the ability to coordinate business, technology, quality, compliance, and vendor teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Delivery & GovernanceLead end-to-end delivery of large-scale life sciences programs across business, IT, digital, data, clinical, regulatory, manufacturing, commercial, or quality functions.Define program scope, objectives, milestones, governance structure, delivery roadmap, and success metrics.Manage integrated program plans, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decision logs.Establish and run program governance forums, steering committees, status reviews, and executive reporting.Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to agreed business outcomes.Stakeholder ManagementPartner with senior business leaders, product owners, technology teams, quality teams, compliance teams, vendors, and external partners.Translate business goals into actionable program plans and delivery priorities.Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making.Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and escalations clearly to executive and operational stakeholders.Life Sciences Domain ExecutionSupport programs in areas such as clinical trials, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, drug safety, quality management, manufacturing, supply chain, medical affairs, commercial operations, or patient services.Ensure alignment with industry regulations and compliance expectations, including GxP, FDA, EMA, HIPAA, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11, CSV, and data integrity requirements where applicable.Work with quality and validation teams to ensure compliant delivery of regulated systems and processes.Support audit readiness, documentation standards, and change control processes.Financial & Resource ManagementManage program budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and vendor spend.Track financial performance, burn rate, benefits realization, and program value.Coordinate internal and external resources across multiple workstreams.Identify capacity constraints and recommend mitigation actions.Risk, Issue & Change ManagementProactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies across program workstreams.Drive mitigation planning and escalation management.Manage scope changes through formal change control processes.Ensure business continuity and operational readiness during transition or implementation.Vendor & Partner ManagementManage third-party vendors, system integrators, technology partners, and consulting teams.Oversee vendor deliverables, SLAs, timelines, quality, and contractual obligations.Facilitate collaboration between client teams and delivery partners.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.8+ years of experience in project or program management.4+ years of experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industry.Proven experience managing large, complex, multi-workstream programs.Strong understanding of regulated environments and compliance-driven delivery.Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.Experience managing budgets, timelines, risks, vendors, and distributed teams.Proficiency with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Clarity, Planview, or similar platforms.Preferred QualificationsPMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or Agile certification.Experience with GxP systems, computer system validation, or regulated technology implementations.Experience with platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce Health Cloud, SAP, Oracle, TrackWise, Argus, Medidata, LabWare, or ServiceNow.Experience in digital transformation, cloud migration, data analytics, AI/ML, automation, or enterprise platform modernization within life sciences.Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.Master’s degree or MBA preferred.Required SkillsProgram and portfolio managementLife sciences domain knowledgeExecutive stakeholder managementRisk and issue managementBudget and resource managementVendor managementRegulatory and compliance awarenessAgile and Waterfall deliveryChange managementStrong written and verbal communicationProblem-solving and decision-makingCross-functional team leadershipAbout NTT DATANTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
