If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, General Ledger to join our Finance & Accounting team.Responsibilities:Lead the DASC General Ledger team through month-end close activities, ensuring journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with U.S. GAAPReview, approve, and maintain the integrity of general ledger accounts, including oversight of high-risk journal entries and complex account reconciliationsDrive process improvement and automation initiatives by partnering with technology teams to implement AI-enabled solutions for journal entry processing, reconciliations, analytics, and anomaly detectionEstablish, monitor, and enhance the internal control environment for DASC-owned general ledger processes, including the design and implementation of automated controlsServe as the accounting policy subject matter expert for general ledger activities and act as a primary liaison for internal and external audit requests and inquiriesSupervise junior team members and offshore resources by providing coaching, performance feedback, workload oversight, project coordination, and support for staffing and talent development decisionsAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum five years of recent experience in corporate accounting and/or public accountingBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or business preferred; minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent is requiredAdvanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and/or SQL; experience with low-code/no-code automation solutions is preferredDemonstrated accounting expertise with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and drive accurate decision-makingProven experience leading or playing a key role in the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses; experience managing, mentoring, and developing junior team members, with the ability to delegate effectively and foster high-performing teamsExcellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)KPMG LLP and its subsidiaries (“KPMG”) complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
