Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Purchase Order Processing and maintenance: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to anticipate needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Cost Optimization: Negotiate prices and PO terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards. Communication: Effectively communicates with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure clear understanding and collaboration. Key Skills: Negotiation Skills: Demonstrates the ability to effectively negotiate terms and prices with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes for the organization. Supplier Relationship Management: Maintains and fosters strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and collaborative partnerships. Cost Management: Utilizes strategies to control and reduce costs while maintaining quality and meeting organizational needs. Contract Management: Develops, reviews, and manages contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Inventory Management: Oversees inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing excess stock and avoiding stockouts. Data Analysis: Analyzes purchasing data and metrics to optimize procurement processes and support strategic decision making. Communication Skills: Effectively communicates with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure clear understanding and collaboration. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves issues related to procurement processes, supplier performance, and supply chain disruptions. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures all purchasing activities adhere to organizational policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards to mitigate potential risks. Supplier Performance: Optimizing a suppliers performance by resolving complex problems through quality and delivery and driving systemic recovery. This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
