This Certified Surgical Technologist position supports a high-acuity operating room environment performing a wide range of surgical procedures including neuro, trauma, ENT, orthopedic, robotic, podiatry, urology, and general surgery cases. The role requires strong experience assisting complex surgical procedures, including DaVinci XI robotics and craniotomy cases. The surgical suite includes multiple ORs, pre-operative, and PACU recovery areas with 1:1 intraoperative patient ratios. The CST works closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, RN circulators, and surgical assistants to ensure efficient case flow, patient safety, and sterile surgical environments. Weekend rotations and call participation are required, with orientation provided prior to independent assignment.

Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile fields, assisting surgeons during procedures, managing surgical instruments and supplies, and supporting patient positioning and intraoperative workflow. CSTs assist with robotic and trauma cases, anticipate surgeon needs, ensure equipment readiness, and collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams. Travelers may float to Central Sterile Processing as needed and must respond to call shifts within required response times while maintaining strict surgical safety and infection control standards.
