Maintenance Tech - Plastic Injection

Maintenance Technician - Plastic Injection Molding

Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative and predictive maintenance tasks related to plastic injection molding machinery, mold set-up, and PLC programming. The Maintenance Technician will work with a team to ensure the safe and effective operation of all molding machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs of plastic injection molding machines.
• Set-up and change molds and tooling for molding machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair molds, machinery, and tooling.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks for molding machines.
• Monitor and adjust molding machine settings in order to maintain quality control.
• Program and maintain PLC systems for molding machines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Experience in set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of molding machines.
• Knowledgeable in PLC programming.
• Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work 12 hr shift on a 2/2/3 rotation. Day or Night shift is available!
