We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to support a contract assignment with a nonprofit organization. In this fully onsite role, you will help strengthen data quality by reviewing historical records, updating information in Salesforce and related systems, and ensuring donor and fund details are complete and accurate. This position is ideal for someone who works carefully with sensitive information, enjoys organizing complex records, and can contribute effectively within a collaborative administrative environment.
Responsibilities:• Examine donor, fund, grant, and expectancy records to correct inaccuracies and fill in missing information.
• Research historical notes, files, and archived documentation to identify details that were not fully captured in current records.
• Update Salesforce and associated databases with verified information to maintain reliable and usable data.
• Link advisors with the appropriate funds and donor expectancy records based on available documentation.
• Associate organizations referenced in fund agreements and advisory records with the correct expectancy entries.
• Locate supporting source materials such as fund agreements and amendments, then enter or revise record details accordingly.
• Contribute to stronger stewardship efforts by improving the completeness and accessibility of donor-related information.
• Work under organizational direction and coordinate with the fundraising administration team to support ongoing data integrity priorities.• At least 2 years of experience in data entry, data cleanup, or records maintenance.
• Demonstrated accuracy and strong attention to detail when handling large volumes of information.
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar database platforms.
• Ability to review historical documents and extract relevant details for system updates.
• Familiarity with donor, fundraising, nonprofit, or financial data is preferred.
• Proficiency in typing and numeric data entry with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Ability to work onsite in Portland, Oregon, on a Monday through Friday schedule.
