Environmental Scientist V - Air Quality Modeling
DGS Office of External Affairs
This position is the lead scientist for the Analytical Support Group in the Division of Air Quality, responsible for air quality modeling and quality-driven analysis of ambient air monitoring data. The role supervises two QA environmental specialists, conducts special air quality studies, and performs modeling to predict the effects of air quality policies and emissions. The position supports the State's clean air and climate programs. Key qualifications Master's degree in Life, Physical, or Applied Science or related field Scientific expertise recognized through publication in scientific and/or professional journals Three years' experience in environmental or natural resources project management Five years' experience analyzing and evaluating scientific data Five years' experience interpreting environmental laws, rules, regulations, and policies Valid driver's license required #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
