A manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience with plastics and polymers.
- Experience leading a plant quality function or quality team
- Strong background working with ISO quality systems
- Experience maintaining and improving a Quality Management System (QMS)
- Background with manufacturing process controls and process audits
- Experience with lab testing and product testing
- Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving, and corrective action experience
- Experience handling customer complaints and quality issues
- Comfortable working directly with customers on technical or quality concerns
- Experience leading or supervising Quality Engineers, Lab Technicians or QC personnel
- Ability to work closely with Production, Engineering, Technical and Commercial teams
- Experience training manufacturing or lab employees on quality practices
- Lean Six Sigma / continuous improvement experience is a plus
- Medical device quality experience is a plus
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is helpful
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry , Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
