The Opportunity

South Mississippi Smiles is offering a full-time opportunity as a Registered Dental Hygienist at our Pascagoula office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patient
• Record observations about the child's dental health, including notes on any infections or other problems that may require attention
• Examine gums to assess levels of periodontal disease
• Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing and sharpening instruments
• Applying fluorides and other dental decay prevention agents
• Provide quality patient care and education regarding tooth and gum care

Compensation and Schedule

• Compensation: Starting at $40.00 per hour, based on experience
• Monthly Bonus Opportunity: Up to $600 additional per month
