This role supports abortion care through direct clinical triage, patient education, and follow-up, ensuring timely and empathetic support to those navigating abortion services. Union: This role is represented by SEIU, Local 105 and is governed by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement. Paid Training: To give you the best training possible in the shortest amount of time you may need to travel to Denver for 2-4 weeks during the first 1 to 2 months of employment. Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in the state where care will be provided (e.g., Colorado or New Mexico). Meets state licensing and certification requirements and hold an active state license with prescriptive authority (full prescriptive authority required in Colorado). 1+ year experience in reproductive health or prior related experience with PPRM. Holds or is willing to obtain DEA certification. Eligible for credentialing with Medicaid and other payors (no restrictions). Completes in‑house ultrasound training within 1 year if practicing. What You'll Do: Provide comprehensive physical exams with a focus on reproductive health for all genders. Comprehensive onboarding program including in-house training on first trimester ultrasound and gender affirming care. Perform cancer screenings, diagnose/treat STIs, and complete advanced clinical procedures. Deliver contraceptive counseling, education, and method provision. Participate in abortion care through counseling, referrals, scheduling, and/or direct provision. Provide patient‑centered, trauma‑informed care, including medication abortion and gender‑affirming care, following all laws and PPRM Medical Standards & Guidelines. Partner with patients, care teams, and community agencies to support holistic care. Advance access to reproductive healthcare while achieving quality and performance goals as a clinical leader.
