Telemetry Technician

Pay Range $17.50 - $24.50 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. Position Overview Telemetry Technician – Intensive Care Unit. Provides nursing support by observing telemetry monitors and working collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure patient safety. Schedule & Hours Part‑time: 24 hours per week. Night shift (7pm‑7am); work every third weekend. Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Preferred: 1 year telemetry experience. Preferred: 2 years experience in the medical field. Certifications & Training BLS required. Cardiac technology certification by the American Cardiology Association preferred. Complete basic EKG training at first offering. Complete 16 hours of 12‑lead EKG training within 3 months of hire. Responsibilities Observe telemetry monitors and report any abnormal findings. Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to coordinate patient care. Ensure consistent patient safety and accurate documentation.
