Job Summary Position: Registered Nurse – Orthopedics/Spine Physical Rehabilitation Unit (6N) – OBC Location: MetroHealth Rehabilitation Institute – Old Brooklyn, Cleveland, OH Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM / 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM; rotating weekends/holidays Hours: 64 hours biweekly (32 per week) Sign‑on bonus: Up to $10,000 for qualified RNs Primary Patient Population Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Primary Skills & Responsibilities Ventilator/Trach care SCI retraining (bowel & bladder management program) Wound prevention and care Specialty treatment and technology for regain of function Rehabilitation education for patients and families Unit Team LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians Unit Details 24 beds National Model System recognition Benefits MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits: tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, professional certification incentives, medical/dental insurance, and Ohio Public Employee Retirement System (OPERS). Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school (or program seeking accreditation) Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers or obtain within 90 days of hire Preferred Qualifications BSN Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or other Magnet‑recognized professional certification MetroHealth is an equal opportunity employer.
