RN - Stepdown

PCU/Stepdown Candidate

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU/Stepdown professional to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a step-down unit, ensuring a smooth transition for patients moving from intensive care to a general medical unit. The ideal candidate will display exceptional clinical judgment and compassion in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, intervening as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about managing their health conditions post-discharge.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
• May be required to float to other locations within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems; Cerner experience is preferred.
• Must provide a completed skills checklist matching the specialty.

Location

Position may involve travel to various facilities in the region, including locations in Laconia, NH and Franklin, NH.
