Your New Role

• Location: Salem, Oregon
• Review RFQs, technical drawings, and project specifications
• Perform detailed material takeoffs for steel fabrication and utility structures
• Request and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors
• Develop complete cost estimates, including labor, materials, and overhead
• Apply pricing strategies that support both competitiveness and company goals
• Coordinate with project managers and internal teams to meet deadlines
• Participate in estimate reviews as needed
• Maintain and update cost databases to improve accuracy and efficiency

• At least 2 years of estimating experience, preferably in steel fabrication or utility-related industries
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple bids and produce accurate, client-ready estimates
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or at least 5 years of related work experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors
