Occupational Therapist I

The Occupational Therapist works as a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team. They perform an individualized evaluation, design goal-directed customized interventions to improve the person's ability to perform daily activities, and periodically review the patient's performance to ensure that the goals are being met and/or make changes to the intervention plan. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions. Evaluates selected diagnoses accurately using basic techniques in acute care and rehabilitation. Asks for clarification of orders from physicians, and requests consult from other O - Ts as needed. Considers all aspects of the patients needs including the physical, psychosocial, developmental, and cultural. Develops and implements treatment plans using appropriate problem solving skills, and clinical reasoning.
