Job Summary This position requires previous experience as a courier/driver in a fast paced environment. The Courier will pick up clients, transport them to appointments, pick up and drop off documents to/from the courthouse, and run errands as needed to accommodate staff workload. Company vehicle is provided. Courier will drive in the surrounding area with trips between San Antonio and Christi and other areas as needed. Job Responsibilities Walk between buildings or drive vehicles to deliver clients, documents or other business. Load vehicles correctly and take necessary precautions. Unload vehicles and tend to firm tasks along delivery routes. Receive messages or materials to be delivered, and information on recipients, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and delivery instructions, communicated via firm device or in person. Plan and follow the most efficient routes. Track and record information in accordance with firm procedures. Check in with home office after completed runs, to confirm tasks and receive instructions for other duties. Perform routine maintenance on delivery vehicles, including monitoring fluid levels, general upkeep and cleanliness, and replenishing fuel.
