Controls Engineer

Grand Rapids, MI Join a growing engineering team designing custom automated systems used in industrial manufacturing environments worldwide. What You’ll Do Develop PLC/HMI programs for automated equipment and integrated systems Support electrical schematics, I/O lists, and controls documentation Lead FATs and troubleshoot controls systems onsite and remotely Partner with engineering and project teams on turnkey automation solutions Ensure systems meet NEC, NFPA, and safety standards What You Bring 5+ years of PLC programming experience Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC experience Strong AC/DC electrical and troubleshooting knowledge Engineering degree or equivalent automation experience preferred Why This Role Quarterly bonus + strong 401(k) profit sharing Career growth in a rapidly expanding organization Updated facilities and collaborative culture Excellent benefits including parental leave and tuition reimbursement If you’re passionate about automation, controls, and custom engineered systems — let’s connect. #J-18808-Ljbffr iRiS Recruiting Solutions
