Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving inspired drinks while delivering distinctive experiences for guests. You are the charming individual that impresses guests with your beverage expertise and techniques in an unmatched, expertly maintained atmosphere. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for helping to set up, run, and break down bars at eventsEnsure the bar is stocked with all necessary supplies and equipment based on the eventPrepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks for event patronsAssess bar customers' needs and preferences and make recommendationsMix ingredients to prepare cocktailsStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experienceMaintain the bar and keep it clean and organizedComply with all food and beverage regulationsRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.Working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.Working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment.Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.Current State Food Handler's License and State Mixologist Permit required.Education and Experience:At least one year of related education, training and/or experience.Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.Benefits include PTO, health, vision, dental, life insurance, 401(k) for qualifying FT employees.Employee perks: 20% discount at Ground entities (includes Grounded Table, The Pub, Ground Market, Grounded Body)About The Ground:The Ground is a hospitality business based in beautiful Willamette Valley that exists to realize human potential in harmony with the planet.
