The Department of Family and Community Services, Division of Department Support Services is recruiting for full-time Accounting Technician 3 in Juneau, Alaska. This position is open to Alaska Residents Only. This position provides financial support to the department such as researching, reviewing and processing Reimbursable Service Agreement (RSA) and accounts payable financial documents. You will provide technical support to our Division by processing encumbrance requests, Department cash receipts deposits, and journal entries.

You will perform tasks independently, prioritize work assignments, and will be the main contact for RSA.

• Accounting Operations: Knowledge of general ledger accounting and the control/subsidiary account relationships and reconciliation techniques, including accounts receivable, account payable, and disbursing officer's accountability.
