Job Description: Join the culinary team at Flecha by Mark Wahlberg, where we merge traditional Mexican cuisine with contemporary innovation. As a Prep Cook, you will be instrumental in preparing ingredients and supporting our chefs to create outstanding dishes that leave a lasting impression on our guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions. Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients. Portion and package ingredients for use during service. Assist in the preparation of sauces, marinades, and other basic components. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Store food items properly to avoid spoilage and cross-contamination. Assist with receiving and stocking inventory. Support the culinary team with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Qualifications Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role preferred. Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving items.
