Electric Motor/ Hoist Technician DURHAM

Associated scaffolding hoist / warehouse service technician is responsible for a variety of functions that range from processing incoming shipments and materials, to picking and filling orders for customer. The technician is required to work as a member of a team and as an individual based on the task must be a self-starter. Other responsibilities include organizing, inspecting, and repairing equipment so that it is in good and safe working condition before being put back into service. Employees must also practice safe work conditions to prevent injuries and hazards from arising. Requirements: Be at least 21 years old Have and maintain a valid NC driver's license Proficiency in verbal communications in the English language Proficiency in reading and writing the English language Have a High School diploma or GED equivalent. Basic knowledge of electrical schematics DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must be mechanically and electrically inclined. Overhaul and repair of hoist motors Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and pneumatic equipment Perform other duties as assigned Process, prepare, and palatize orders for shipment Sort, organize, inspect, repair, complete service reports, and return equipment to proper storage locations. Wear proper safety equipment and apparel (PPE) Ability to follow instructions in an efficient manor Problem solving and organizational skills Reliable and dependable Training: Technicians must complete required training which includes: Forklift Fire prevention, lockout tag out, personal protective equipment, blood borne pathogens Manufactures technical training for hoist Other course may be required as equipment changes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
