Human Resources Business Partner

The Fedcap Group is seeking an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, managers, and employees across an assigned portfolio of business units. The HRBP will identify and deliver innovative solutions to business needs, implement core HR programs and policies, and ensure that business strategy is reflected in HR objectives. This role requires a partner who can advise senior leadership, support talent priorities, and educate employees at all levels on HR solutions. The HR Business Partner plays an important role in ensuring our people practices support a responsive, accountable, high-performing, and mission-aligned organization. Key Responsibilities Talent and Organization Development Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of assigned business units, including operations, business priorities, workforce needs, and organizational risks. Provide strategic HR guidance to support business objectives, people strategies, and operational plans. Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruiting priorities, workforce planning, and critical hiring initiatives, including participation in the selection process for key roles. Advise leaders on organizational design, change management, acquisitions, onboarding of new leaders, relocations, and other organizational initiatives. Build bench strength through talent planning and proactive succession strategies. Support talent reviews, individual development planning, and leadership development programs. Partner with business leaders on workforce planning and long-term talent strategies. Employee Relations Partner with leaders and managers to apply HR policies, procedures, and best practices across their teams. Manage employee relations matters including performance concerns, policy interpretation, accommodations, and workforce reductions while partnering with HR leadership on complex issues. Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve employee experience and retention. Rewards and Benefits Partner with HRIS and Benefits to understand market practices and reward strategies. Develop strategies to improve employee engagement and retention. Guide leaders on compensation, recognition, and retention best practices. HR Data and Analytics Leverage workforce data, trends, and analytics to identify talent gaps, forecast workforce needs, and support informed business decisions. Compliance and Risk Mitigation Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and advise leaders on policy interpretation, compliance, and risk mitigation. Culture and Engagement Partner with leaders to build high-performing teams and foster employee engagement, collaboration, productivity, and inclusion. Support initiatives that advance Fedcap's mission and strengthen opportunities for employees and the communities we serve. Qualifications Education and Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable strategic HR role. Experience supporting complex, multi-site organizations with diverse employee populations. Strong HR functional knowledge including employee relations, talent management, organizational development, change management, compensation, and benefits. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Builds strong, productive relationships at all organizational levels. Translates business priorities into practical HR solutions. Experienced in identifying and implementing organizational solutions that improve business performance. Effectively prioritizes competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills. Exercises sound judgment, maintains confidentiality, and demonstrates the highest level of integrity. Ability to interpret and apply employment laws across multiple states; global experience is a plus. Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms, preferably Oracle HCM, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
