Paid Ad & Direct Response Copywriter (Onsite, Scottsdale)
\nBase salary: $85,000-$95,000 + Performance Bonuses
\n \nOur client is one of the biggest names in health optimization: a $120M+ precision-wellness business serving 218,000+ customers across 46 countries with an ad spend of $500K+/month . Advanced diagnostics, custom protocols, and a clinical team people fly across the country for. The marketing team is expanding, and this role both writes and produces, turning real health science into content people can't scroll past.
\n \nThe role: Write persuasive, direct-response copy that turns attention into action, from Meta ad hooks and scripts to landing pages, VSLs, website videos, and campaign launches. You'll translate clinical and scientific concepts into clear, compelling messaging, develop new angles and concepts every week, and help turn winning ideas into finished performance creative.

\n \n* Direct-response copywriters whose work is built to sell and convert - not technical, editorial, or commercial content writers
\n* Performance-minded creatives who understand hooks, angles, offers, funnels, and CTAs
\n* Writers comfortable owning copy across paid social ads, landing pages, VSLs, video scripts, and launches
\n* Creative thinkers who can help take an idea from concept → script/copy → finished ad , without needing to be a traditional video producer
\n* Writers who use AI to increase efficiency, not let AI do their job for them.
\n* Idea machines who constantly pitch new angles, iterate based on performance, and ship fast
\n \nThis is not a traditional content or video production role. We're not looking for corporate video producers, commercial production specialists, technical writers, or brand storytellers. We're looking for someone who understands direct-response marketing and knows how to make creative that drives action.
\n \nWhat you'll need:
\n- \n
- 4+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a strong focus on direct-response or performance marketing \n
- A portfolio that shows copy built to drive action and conversions : paid social ads, landing pages, VSLs, sales pages, funnels, launches, or similar \n
- Proven experience writing direct-response ad copy and video scripts , especially for Meta and other paid social channels \n
- Strong understanding of hooks, angles, offers, CTAs, customer psychology, and the buyer journey \n
- Ability to develop creative concepts and scripts and guide them through production and post-production. This is not a traditional videographer or commercial production role \n
- Comfortable using performance data and creative learnings to iterate on copy, angles, and concepts \n
- Health, wellness, biotech, or medical experience is a plus; SEO/AIO experience is a plus \n
Compensation: $85,000-$95,000 base + Performance Bonuses
