Job Description:

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Level-3 or higher Emergency Department (ED), handling psych, trauma, general medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke patients. Experience with the EPIC EMR system is required.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency care to patients with various medical conditions including trauma, cardiac, and stroke.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
• Floating may be required to FSED or within Deaconess as helping hands.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Level-3 or higher ED.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENCP, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB.
• Must pass the Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam.
