Job Announcement

FCUSD is seeking to build a team that is representative of the Folsom Cordova student body and community. Diverse individuals are encouraged to apply.

Applicants selected to move forward in the process must be available for in-person interviews during the periods of July 15–16 and July 21–23. Selected applicants must also attend a mandatory orientation during the week of August 3. Specific dates and times will be shared upon selection.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit/Teaching Credential or a *bachelor's degree.

  • If you do not have an existing sub permit or teaching credential, but have a bachelor’s degree, we will assist you in obtaining a 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit .

• Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Upon Conditional Offer of Employment:

• Department of Justice (DOJ) Criminal Background Check

• TB Test within the past 60 days (Education Code 49406, Assembly Bill 1667)

• AB2534

• Complete district trainings: Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment, etc.

• Valid CA Driver’s License

• STEDI Training Certification and Annual FCUSD Substitute Training.

  • Certification provided by FCUSD prior to appointment.
