Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanic located in Rockland, ME. The Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a variety of marine equipment and vessels. Key tasks include diagnosing issues, troubleshooting mechanical failures, and ensuring that heavy equipment and components are maintained and functioning safely and efficiently. Qualifications Expertise in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair operations Knowledge of Heavy Equipment operation and maintenance Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Proficiency in using tools and equipment relevant to marine mechanics Experience working in marine or related industries is a plus Attention to detail and commitment to safety High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics is highly desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr Johanson Boatworks
