Job Description The Pasta Cook's primary responsibility is to cook in our kitchen, following our Executive Chef's specifications and guidelines ensuring total guest satisfaction. This is achieved by:

• Being able to read and follow recipes, follow directions and lists outlined by a chef
• Understanding and following the proper DOH food safety policies
• Being punctual and paying attention to detail
• Maintaining a positive and professional attitude with coworkers
• Working in a fast-paced and stressful environment without losing composure
• Having the ability to stand while working for long periods of time
• Performing other duties as directed

Required experience

• Experience in a high-volume restaurant (1+ years Manhattan experience) cooking PASTA
• Understanding of various cooking methods and cuisines
• Maintain high-quality standards, clean work habits with a great attention to detail
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills
• Familiar with industry's best practices, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and open availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation: Hourly ($25.00 - $30.00)
