The Corporation Counsel plays a vital role as the chief legal advisor for the organization, providing expert guidance on a broad range of legal issues including employment matters, contracts, collections, and staffing. They ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while supporting the company's operational and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Advise on employment-related legal matters to mitigate risks and support HR policies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the company’s interests.
- Manage collections processes to ensure timely recovery of receivables.
- Support staffing decisions with legal guidance on compliance and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate law.
