Role Description The Pre-Litigation Case Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Bel Air, MD. This role manages personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation resolution, including gathering and organizing client information, medical records, and accident documentation. The Case Manager regularly communicates with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties to track treatment, confirm losses, and support case development. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate case files, updating case management systems, preparing demand packages, and assisting attorneys with case evaluations. The role also involves monitoring deadlines, coordinating appointments, and ensuring each client receives responsive, professional support throughout the pre-litigation process. Qualifications Client service and communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and a professional, empathetic approach to working with injured clients. Organizational and case management skills, such as maintaining detailed records, managing multiple cases, and tracking deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Administrative and documentation skills, including proficiency with case management software, data entry, document preparation, and file maintenance. Negotiation and coordination skills, including interacting with medical providers and insurance adjusters, confirming balances, and assisting with settlement preparation. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with attorneys and staff, demonstrating reliability, discretion, and sound judgment. Prior experience in personal injury, insurance claims, medical billing, or a law firm environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (such as legal studies, criminology, or business) is a plus.
