Full-Time Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper

Pay: $20-$23 Dependant on Experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (35 hours/week)
Location: On-site, in Binghamton, NY

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a dependable Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong QuickBooks experience who enjoys a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities in a professional office environment.

Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Enter invoices and maintain accurate financial records
Maintain vendor and customer records
Generate financial reports as requested
Assist with general office and administrative duties related to accounting
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information

Qualifications

Previous bookkeeping, accounting clerk, or accounting assistant experience preferred
Strong proficiency with QuickBooks required
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
