Job Description

As a Shop Helper, you will support daily operations in a busy manufacturing/shop environment. You will assist with assembly, equipment maintenance, and material handling, ensuring workflow is efficient and organized. This role is hands-on, team-oriented, and essential to keeping the shop clean, safe, and productive. You will work closely with technicians and other personnel to help the team meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly, cleaning, and maintenance of shop equipment and tools 
• Prepare and stage materials for production and shipping 
• Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of products 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards 
• Support technicians and other shop personnel with various tasks as needed 

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or shop environment 
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) 
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions 
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team 
• Ability to read a tape measure

The base pay range for this position is $16–$18/hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
