Revenue Integrity Analyst

Job Summary The Revenue Integrity Analyst performs internal quality assessment claim reviews to ensure compliance with federal, payer, and internal Revenue Cycle policies. The role improves the accuracy, integrity, and quality of patient charges, researches claim data variances, evaluates payer updates, assists in chart-to-bill audits, and coordinates multiple projects to generate enhanced revenue reports. Key Responsibilities Conduct internal quality assessment claim reviews for compliance with federal, payer, and internal policies. Improve accuracy and consistency of patient charge data and minimize variation in charging practices. Research claim data variances, evaluate payer updates, and support chart-to-bill audits. Produce timely, accurate, and inclusive charge capture coding and billing functions. Identify charge issues and recommend solutions. Coordinate and manage multiple projects, reprioritizing as needed. Create enhanced reports from multiple systems to increase revenue. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, finance, or related field, or high school diploma + 7 years revenue cycle billing experience. Three years of experience in revenue cycle, analytics, or reporting. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred; healthcare finance and revenue cycle experience required. Experience with Epic preferred. PC skills: Excel and PowerPoint required. Ability to present analytical topics to clinical or senior leadership audiences preferred. Excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, and climbing stairs. Ability to work indoors and outside in temperature extremes (infrequent). Ability to work from elevated areas and confined/cramped spaces. Ability to perform gross and fine motor activities, including pinching and gross manipulation with fingers and hands. Ability to reach overhead or in all directions. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. unassisted; lift objects up to 50 lbs. from floor or 36 inches; lift 25 lbs. from 36" to overhead.
