A full-time pharmacist position is available for dedicated professionals seeking to contribute to patient care within a 200-bed hospital setting. Location:

• Tucson, AZ (Med Center facility)

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift, 7 days on / 7 days off
• Wednesday through Tuesday schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians on drug selection and dosing to optimize patient treatment
• Provide education and guidance on medication use for nursing staff, patients, and physicians
• Lead medication safety initiatives to minimize errors and ensure compliance
• Manage patient profiles, monitor for adverse drug reactions, and report appropriately
• Prepare IV admixtures, nutritional supplements, and maintain strict narcotic accountability

Desired Experience / Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of drug therapies and patient care principles
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Competence in handling medication safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Skill in preparation of IV and nutritional admixtures
