Network Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - 165,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network technician roles.
• We require strong expertise with Cisco platforms and appliances, including routers, switches, firewalls, and IOS/IOS-XE environments.
• We need solid experience designing and operating LAN/WAN networks, including routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, plus VLANs and segmentation.
• We require practical experience with VPN technologies and firewall administration.
• We need direct experience with Cisco Virtual Office (CVO) solutions.
• We require an active network certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or an equivalent credential; higher-level Cisco certifications are a plus.
• We require the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• We require the candidate to live within approximately 50 miles of Martinsburg, West Virginia.
• We require an active Top Secret clearance.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with RF sensors, UAS or C-UAS systems, support for DHS, DoD, CBP, USSS, or similar federal agencies, and additional security or networking certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or advanced Cisco credentials.

• We will have you design, configure, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and hybrid network infrastructures.
• We will have you implement, manage, and fine-tune VPN solutions and associated security controls.
• We will have you configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco firewalls, routers, switches, and security devices.
• We will have you support Cisco Virtual Office solutions, including remote unattended deployments.
• We will rely on you to troubleshoot networks, perform root-cause analysis, improve performance, and resolve incidents.
• We will have you maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and change management records.
• We will have you help ensure high availability, strong security, and compliance with applicable standards.
• We will have you collaborate with stakeholders on upgrades, expansions, and integration efforts.
• We will expect you to operate independently in routine and high-priority situations.
