Director, Strategic Sourcing

Revolution Medicines seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing to lead supply chain strategy across pharmaceutical manufacturing, development, and external quality functions. The role involves developing supplier portfolios, optimizing costs, managing risk, and partnering with senior leadership to align sourcing with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sourcing and supplier portfolio strategies aligned with pipeline and enterprise objectives
Lead sourcing for raw materials, intermediates, APIs, solid dose manufacturing, drug products, and packaging
Serve as trusted advisor to senior leadership on market intelligence, outsourcing options, and supplier insights
Identify and deliver cost savings, productivity improvements, and value through competitive sourcing and partnerships
Establish and lead supplier risk management, due diligence, and business continuity strategies

Requirements

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in scientific discipline
15+ years progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or manufacturing
10+ years managing outsourced manufacturing and strategic supplier networks
Demonstrated experience with small-molecule API and oral solid dose manufacturing
Proven leadership of complex, large-scale strategic initiatives with measurable outcomes
Extensive experience negotiating complex supplier agreements and partnerships
Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills
