Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Manager:
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Oversee payroll audits, tax filings, garnishments, and reporting requirements.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain and optimize payroll systems, processes, and internal controls.
Qualifications for the Payroll Manager:
• 5+ years of payroll experience, including leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Paychex, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
