They oversee all operations when the General Manager is absent, ensuring superior customer experience, community partnerships, and membership sales, while hiring, coaching, and developing staff within operational budgets. The role is accountable for achieving financial sustainability, customer satisfaction, and revenue performance. Successful performance earns a monthly bonus. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead and manage club operations, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue targets. Perform sales duties, including outbound calls to prospective members and tracking overall sales numbers. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests, ensuring staff adhere to superior customer service guidelines. Provide staff support, coaching, and skill development to drive performance and growth. Collaborate with the General Manager and Regional Manager to address issues with employees and members promptly and respectfully. Promote a superior customer experience within the Club and actively promote CLUB4 Fitness within local communities. Partner with the General Manager to grow the club's sales profit and motivate staff to achieve related goals. Ensure accurate and timely daily deposits and monitor compliance with all policies and procedures. Monitor inventory, maintain supplies, oversee payroll and scheduling, and ensure adequate staffing. Maintain facility cleanliness and pass inspections. Schedule and reassign staff during the General Manager's absence. Protect proprietary and sensitive information. Work with the GM and MOD to ensure clear communication, effective working relationships, and an inviting experience for members. Adhere to company policies and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned. Organizational Relationships The position reports directly to the General Manager and operates under the direction of a Regional Manager. Qualifications Required Qualifications Hard-working, goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and energetic. Solid work ethic with strong decision-making skills. Self-starter who takes initiative with minimal direction. Basic computer, math, and communication skills. Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry. Detail and results-oriented with a high degree of professionalism and organizational skills. Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams. Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Desire to learn club operations and manage staff in the General Manager's absence. Ability to travel to other clubs as needed. Minimum Certifications / Education / Experience Some supervisory or leadership experience in a high-level customer service industry preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; a 2- or 4-year degree or four years of supervisory experience preferred. CPR/AED certification required.
