CNC Lathe Operator

The CNC Lathe Operator will: Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to manufacture parts to print specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Select proper tooling and fixtures for each job. Load raw materials and monitor machining processes. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Make basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain quality standards. Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies. Document production data, including quantities, defects and machine performance. Collaborate with supervisors, engineers and quality teams as needed. Complies with all Butech Bliss safety rules. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Ability to read blueprints and understand (GD&T) (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing ) preferred Strong attention to detail and quality control Basic math and problem-solving skills Physical Requirement Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Industrial/manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and material handling. Requires use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel‑toe boots. May require overtime or weekend work depending on production needs. Education And/or Experience: High School diploma or GED required Technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred 1-3+ years of CNC lathe operating experience (or entry -level with training) Butech Bliss offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including medical insurance at no cost to the employee, with a $3,500 deductible that is covered at 100% once met, as well as dental and vision coverage.
