Multi‑Site Facilities Operations Supervisor

Location: Archbold, OH

Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000

You begin the morning reviewing overnight alerts and any after‑hours calls from two sites you oversee. A quick walk‑through uncovers a minor HVAC issue; you assign a work order, then loop in the production maintenance team to ensure building operations aren’t disrupted. By mid‑morning, you’re coordinating with contracted partners—janitorial, security, landscaping, and snow removal—verifying service quality and schedules. After lunch, you lead a safety walkthrough with Environmental, Health, and Safety colleagues, confirm that life‑safety, fire protection, card access, and video surveillance systems are operating to standard, and document any follow‑ups. The afternoon includes a progress meeting on an office renovation, a budget check‑in for upcoming preventive maintenance, and a call with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) on permitting and code details. You wrap the day by communicating updates to stakeholders and checking that inspections, preventive tasks, and minor repairs (painting, furniture moves, general maintenance) are on track.

• Overall maintenance, safety, security, and management of two building sites, ensuring timely, high‑quality resolution of facilities issues.
• Compliance with applicable regulations and company policies, supported by regular inspections and continuous improvements.
• Oversight of contractors and trades (janitorial, security, landscaping, snow removal), holding vendors to quality and schedule commitments.
• Work order administration, preventive maintenance programs, and scheduled inspections.
• Hands‑on tasks: minor mechanical fixes, painting, furniture moves, and general facilities upkeep.
• Clear stakeholder communications about property conditions, projects, and maintenance activities.
• Collaboration on building security and life‑safety systems: card access, video surveillance, fire protection, and related procedures.
• Close partnership with plant production maintenance and EHS teams to align on building needs and safety initiatives.
• Emergency response leadership, including after‑hours calls and decisions on escalation.
• Support for capital projects such as new installations and office renovations.
• Budget planning, management, and monitoring for cost‑effective maintenance and repair solutions.
• Interface with AHJ for permits, code interpretation, operations, and coordination with fire, safety, and police.
• Adherence to health and safety guidelines; ensure team‑wide compliance.
• Ongoing professional development through workshops, publications, networks, and professional societies.
• People leadership: attract, develop, engage, and retain a high‑performing team; guide performance management and compensation processes.
• Transparent team communication via meetings, one‑on‑ones, email, IM, and regular interpersonal touchpoints.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask across concurrent projects, meeting tight timelines and budgets.
• Comfort working independently while building strong relationships with leaders, teammates, and contractors.
• Experience coordinating work across multiple locations.
• Clear communication with staff, contractor personnel, and AHJ representatives.
• Willingness to drive cultural and process improvements that support company goals.
• Stationary Engineer, CFM, or OSHA 10 credentials are a plus (not required).
