About the Position: This Management Support Specialist position is located at U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, Redstone Test Center, Human Resources Directorate G-1 with duty location of Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting in performing military and civilian personnel management functions, such as maintaining personnel records, validating personnel actions, preparing evaluations, and/or supporting promotion and awards processes assisting in managing recruitment, placement, workforce development, and/or incentive awards activities assisting in analyzing personnel data, identifying issues, and/or recommending solutions related to strength management, readiness, retention, and organizational structure assisting in preparing reports, briefings, and/or guidance materials to support human resources programs, policy implementation, and/or management advisory services This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
